3 (Three) “Broadband” sucks.

3 (three) broadband

I’ve already posted a LOT about 3 Mobile Broadband over at Aonach.com, but while I may have taken the piece of crap back and gotten a refund, many others still struggle on with 3 trying to get them to provide the service they were promised.

Mr. T asked bloggers to unite and get this shambles some extra coverage… and so I am posting again about the horribleness that is the 3 Mobile Broadband modem service.

Do read through my posts on Aonach if you want the details of my experience and what led to me throwing it back in their face, or go to Boards.ie and read posts from the countless people who are still not getting the service they were promised.

Whatever you do - DON’T GET A 3 MOBILE BROADBAND MODEM!!!

3G not as widespread as I thought…?

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007 by Frank

It looks like 3G isn’t on half as many people’s phone’s as I thought it was. Of course, it’s hardly a conclusive sampling, but here are the current results of the poll:

do you use 3G

38% don’t use it because their phone doesn’t support it, a further 24% just don’t use it at all.
Personal use is slightly ahead of business use at the moment…

3G business or personal

Yes, i know 21 people isn’t a conclusive sampling :D , that’s why you should go and take part now…!

Nokia 6300 - Screw 3G!

nokia6300

More and more, I hate mobile phones. I’m fucking sick to death of saying ‘hang on, you’re breaking up a bit…’.

And yet I don’t have the balls to adjust my life to live without one, and so it was upgrade time again as the battery on my Nokia 6630 was lasting ten minutes - and anyway, I should have dumped the 6630 ten minutes after I got it, I’ve always hated it.

So what phone should I get?
