If the world was boiled down to 100 people, only three would have an internet connection.

That makes you think about the time you spend blogging doesn’t it? I don’t think that was the point of miniature earth of course.

    Those statistics were really surprising.

The only one i found surprising was that even though only 7 had secondary level education 12 had a computer…

I suppose 8 of the twelve were probably dismantling the several they had in toxic conditions down some sidestreet in china for the residue of the precious metals….it’s what we like to call recycling in the west. Eases the guilt of an ever accelerating expanding consumerist road to nowwhere. Just ask the happy morons in the cartoon in the next post what i’m talkin’ about, they won’t have a clue. That said….i love my shiny new mac…i’m goin’ to hell………….

well, to reply to rich’s comment,

7 people were educated at a secondary level
    12 have a computer

this really means 7% and 12%

so keeping that in mind, the proportions were taken not based on people, but on numbers; 7 percent of people could be educated, but in that 7 percent, 3 percent of them could be the 12 percent that own the numerous computers themselves.

look at the numbers as statistics, not poeple
