By the way Frank, having my comment removed ‘as being potentially offensive’, is I find, very offensive. Anything can be perceived as being ‘potentially offensive’, depending on who is doing the editing-your excision of my comment, which was in itself nothing but a sytanxical gambol was in complete denial of the rich tradition of sarcasm and irony that, dating from Swift et al., marks our free and open public discourse apart from those of lesser traditions. But that’s the way it is these days-agree with us or be damned.

That’s what I said Frank, ‘All praise to the society for their flag day’, and, as a caveat, I advised people to be aware of unscrupulous elements trying to cash in on the good work the Irish Cancer Society are doing. But as usual, any discussion on immigration is swept under the carpet, to be dealt with at a later date……
