June 5th, 2008 by Eoin

Today FM’s The Last Word with Matt Cooper is having a Lisbon Treaty special this evening. From 16:30-19:00 they will be hosting a live debate from Dublin Castle.

It’ll be interesting anyway…

Good points made on yes and no side. Interesting & informative show but I don’t know if one side or the other made a real case for which way to vote though.

For my part, although I thought the yes side made some very valuable points, I’m still voting no. I do understand a *little* more where the yes side is coming from though.

Matt looks dreamy in this photo, doesn’t he Frank?

Matt certainly does look dreamy there Brian, all that wisdom coming from the soft focus is just so, so sexy.

How´s everything back in the old sod? I turn my back for two minutes and Cork lose to Tipp-scandalous!

Well, here I am in Galicia, only 20km to go to Santiago de Compostela and that´s it, my place in heaven is secured! It´s been a great trip so far and I would recommend the Camino to anyone. I´ll tell you all about it when I get back and if you´re a really good boy I might bring you some tinned octopus tentacles, Chorizo and Small Tit cheese.

I was in a little chapel in a place called Boente yesterday and over the altar was the Illumanati “eye in the pyramid” symbol-put a shiver up my spine I tell you. Then the priest asked me something in Latin and told me I was the chosen one-nuts!!!! I got out of there fast and headed over to the little bar across the road where I finished off a bottle of Oruja con Herbias-great tack that-drink enough and the hallucinatios can be quite amusing. Did you know wine is cheaper than water in Spain? Nucking futts!

One thing for sure is that the nature around here is fantastic, birds, frogs, snakes, lizards, huge trout in streams-you name it, I´ve seen it.

As for Lisbon, if you get a chance vote No for me please Brian. My voting card is lying around somewhere in the kitchen and you can easily impersonate me by growing an extra 6 inches over-night and getting an orderly haircut. Seriously though, I implore every freedom loving Irishman and Irish woman to vote No! It´s your last chance.

Until I get back, hasta luego amigos. Viva lÉspana! Eire go bragh!
