Win an iPod Shuffle! Caption Competition!
March 20th, 2007 by Frank
Competition Closed!
Check out the winnner.
Check out the winnner.
That’s right! Win an iPod shuffle - and it’s fun, it’s a caption competition.
The only way we could make this more fun is if it was spot the ball, but I don’t know anything about football…
Anyway, look at the image at the end of this post and come up with what goes in the speech bubble. You can also have more text under the image, but that’s optional.
The rules are simple:
- Leave a comment below with your incredible caption
- Be sure and fill in a valid email so I can contact you if you win.
- Closing date is the 1st of April, unless there are less than 25 valid entry comments in which case closing date is extended.
- You don’t have to link to this post to win, but I’d sure appreciate it if you spread the word so we get as many quality entries as possible!
- I decide who wins on the basis of who I think has been most funny. My decision is final!
- I’ll contact the winner for delivery details and get an iPod Shuffle to them.
- Your caption doesn’t have to have anything to do with this.
UPDATE: For details on how to be in with a chance to be entered into a draw for a SECOND iPod Shuffle see here.

Thanks Adam – I only noticed the other day trackbacks and pings don’t appear here – I spotted it in incoming links in admin section alright – and at least one person mentioned to me it was their favourite!
Stay tuned for update relevant to your entry… but you won’t like it much… ha ha ha…

[...] Have we lost our minds? Possibly we’ve been carried away on the wave of enthusiasm that swelled up in us upon seeing the quality of the entries to our caption competition! [...]
March 22nd, 2007 at 9:06 pm
As you may see from the pingback above, we have another iPod Shuffle up for grabs – this time it’s a draw, anyone who puts the caption competition image on their site or blog gets entered.
Check here for details!

Sorry about the delay Adam – the pingback was in the moderation queue…
I moderate unless you’ve posted before, not sure if that goes for pingbacks as well, I assume it does.
Thankfully pingbacks are working now – took me ages get them working last night – turned out they were fecked because I had a plugin called Adhesive installed which for some reason stopped them working.
March 23rd, 2007 at 9:38 am
Heh, I like that one.
March 23rd, 2007 at 10:23 am
Here’s another one: my outgoing pings are not working for some reason but the problem is at my side. Anyway…
