This one got past me! I think I’ll have to start reading movie magazines again?

After getting fired by Paramount last year Tom Cruise’s company Cruise Wagner Productions has now (well November!) signed an incredible deal with United Artists and MGM. I’ll be watching developments there with great interest, especially seeing as the first film coming out of this deal is Lions for Lambs. Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep and Robert Redford will all star, with Redford to direct. And that’s before you consider the plot is to do with Army Rangers behind enemy lines in Afghanistan!

I saw this the other day and kept meaning to put up a post about it. I haven’t the time to go into it too much at the moment but here’s a few links for you to follow. Filmbase, Screen Training Ireland, The Irish Film Board, The Arts Council and TV3 have announced the launch of Catalystproject. I strongly urge anyone with a film directing or producing credit to their name to check this out.
