Now to most people this is not something that warrants a blog post - not to mention a post linking to other people’s posts, but to me this is an important moment.

What’s it all about? Han Shot First, that’s what!

The original Star Wars trilogy is great! It is flawed greatness, but it is the greatness I grew up with and it will always have a special place in my heart. The remastered special editions and the prequels were very exciting and all, but they took from the glory of the original trilogy. By wearing this t-shirt Lucas has given fans like myself a little bit of that glory back.

The cynic in me wonders if it is all part of getting the fans back on side so we’ll flock to Indy 4, but either way it is an acknowledgment of the effects of tampering with greatness. Harry at Ain’t It Cool puts it better than me.
