New Irish film – Kisses
November 18th, 2008 by EmmetI’m involved in the distribution of a pretty cool new Irish film called Kisses. Directed by Lance Daly and featuring newcomers Kelly O’Neill and Shane Curry.
It’s my favorite Irish film of 2008. It’s beautifully shot, and the kids in it are really impressive.
It’s out on November 23rd 2008.

Looks good… first I heard of it – but then I am a little out of the loop these days. I still haven’t gotten around to seeing Son of Rambow either, but it’s on my to see list!

It’s been very heavily advertised in Dublin (buses/DART/LUAS), but not so much in the rest of Ireland. That said it was on the cover of the ticket last week, and has had features in the irish times magazine, the sunday times etc etc..
Do check it out, not sure you’ll like it, but at least it doesn’t fall into the trap of having “the same old Irish faces” that you always give out about (bar Stephen Rea).

hi, this great movie is currently showing in Singapore (yeah, don’t know why only now…) and I just came home catch it. Love it. The visuals, the casting and soundtrack all made the simple story a perfect one. I don’t know if you would be reading this at all but I really really want to know if the soundtrack is selling anywhere? Thanks!
