Surveillance

Here’s an interesting looking trailer for a movie called Surveillance. It is written and directed by Jennifer Lynch, daughter of David Lynch, who previously wrote and directed 1993’s Boxing Helena. David Lynch takes an Executive Producer role.

I think the trailer is too long but I love the opening.

It is due for release later this year.

    Ooooh… nice.

May give too much away in the trailer alright, but it looks like a great mix of styles - early David Lynch meets the best nineties horror/slasher flicks…

I think if they stopped the trailer after 37 seconds it would have been a good one. Throw up David Lynch’s name then and that should have your audience hooked.

Really like the sound carrying over the WB logo though.

I don’t know, it looks gratuitously disturbing to me. I saw that Mulholland Drive in the cinema when it was doing the rounds and felt like asking for my money back when it was over-rubbish. Shock for shock’s sake is just so passee Mr. Lynch.

Mulholland Drive was worth it for Naomi Watts alone!
