The Dark Knight Trailer 4

I like it! Shows a lot but it’s still a nice trailer. This film looks like they’ve dropped Batman into the real World rather than a comic book World. I’ve always felt that wouldn’t be possible but it might just work. If it does I’ll be very impressed. I like what we see of Heath Ledger’s performance too.

Definitely looking forward to it, but I do think Ledger’s Joker owes more than necassary to Nicholson’s… lot of similar phrasing and face pulling. Darker certainly, but I was hoping for something different.

He would need to be somewhat similar to the popular culture image of the Joker anyway. Let’s wait to see the whole performance to judge how it fits though.
