Daredevil’s suit was funny. I believe it was an accurate recreation of the comic book’s suit but it was still funny.

The Ironman trailer made me laugh loudly several times, but it did remind me of the Ang Lee Hulk, so if you’re into that kind of thing I guess you’ll be happy.

The first two Spider-man films and the first X-Men were good.

That’s the wonderful thing about superhero films though. There’s something for everyone out there. I’m encouraged by this trailer. It’s much better than I thought it could be.

Still though, give me Batman any day.

Ah Green Ink… my faith in your taste in movies is taking an awful hammering this past few weeks…

Eric Bana was an inspired piece of casting, and he would have been so capable of playing a deeper more three dimensional Banner had the script allowed.

I had no problem with the CGI, I thought it was great fun… I loved watching Hulk leap through the desert..

But the story… ack… the story… it’s killing me, it was so boring, it lacked a basic human aspect which would have allowed us to actually engage and instead focussed too much on er, comicbook baddies and the like.

I know, I know, it’s a comic, but you have to bring another dimension to it when you bring it to the big screen, otherwise just read the damn comics and leave them alone!

As for Marvel films… Spiderman was great I thought, as was X-Men… (that was Marvel wasn’t it?) and hey, Daredevil’s suit was great

We’re parting company again Frank. I thought Ang Lee’s Hulk was beautiful, great casting, breathtakingly innovative editing that nodded to the material’s origins, the Hulk as an elemental force, the delicacy of his flight through the landscape, some of the best visual foreshadowing I’ve ever seen in a movie… I could wax on about it for paragraphs. What scuppered it was the Superbowl commercial where raw CGI was mistakenly used, hence the Shrek comparisons and low audience turn out.
The “requel” is going to be the usual brainless smashfest that the Marvel movies in the main have been.
Ironman looks the shit though.
