Agree with you 100%, i can’t simply understand how some people consider this film as one of the best movies of 2007. Oh and that music, it’s like playing loud heavy metal over a romantic diner. Just doesn’t combine.

Hey there, just came across ur site. I saw this movie recently but didn’t get a chance to review it but I don’t think my thoughts would differ a whole lot from yours. Day Lewis is excellent and Paul Dano was commendable too. But I really was falling asleep during this…except that the deafening music kept me awake! The score is good but overused. I might watch it again another time at home where I have control over the sound!
