Flying Penguins - courtesy of the BBC

April 16th, 2008 by Frank

I missed this when it was first posted on the BBC site earlier this month, and it has taken me until now to track it down and share it with you (especially you Janie!)

Since then they have also released this ‘making of’ piece…

Brilliant Frank, their take off is priceless, I love it.
    It’s amazingly seamless, isn’t it.

I wish I had seen it before I knew it was a joke just to see whether I was fooled for a minute - when you know it’s cgi it’s obvious, but I wonder if you didn’t… I love the fellow landing at the end…

Didn’t know it was a joke and there was something about the presenter that made it less than believable. The penguins looked very real though. Not sure I was buying them flying thousands of miles. Short bursts of flight might have fooled me?

Nothing to do with penguins but something to do with flying, you should have a look at this-http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article3802071.ece

That’s better! Some priest, eh? It’s like something that would happen Dougal at the village fair or something, only this guy meant it.

I read about that alright, no news about him being found? What a horrible thing to happen to you though…
