Happy New Year!
January 2nd, 2008 by FrankHappy New Year to everyone who stops by BifSniff.com. I have a good feeling about 2008, I think interesting things will happen and I personally intend to achieve great things. No, I haven’t quite decided what those things will be just yet, but they will be great.
I hope everyone had a pleasant New Years Eve, and a wonderful Christmas… I know I did… I particularly enjoyed nursing a slight cold yesterday with plenty of Six Feet Under and Battlestar Gallactica. Now that’s what Christmas is all about. 
As you may have noticed, over Christmas I finally got around to trying out Loudervoice for doing film reviews. The reason it took me until now was because the Loudervoice wordpress plugin clashed with an adsense plugin I was using until recently. Over Christmas I was doing some more experimentation with Adsense and I changed plugins.
I now use a plugin which is based on Adsense Injection but is edited to include some of Donnchas Adsense code resulting in a plugin which randomly inserts ads into posts older than a month but also hides ads from people who have commented on the site.
So many thanks to Donncha! I loved the sound of Adsense Injection, but didn’t like the idea of having ads in the most recent posts. If anyone would like a copy of the plugin I use now, feel free to leave a comment below and I can get it to you.
So maybe 2008 will the year that BifSniff makes us rich…

Yeah,
Film & TV stuff gets a lot of traffic here, I have even been considering, as an experiment, changing the category from ‘film & tv’ to ‘movies & tv’ to see what impact that would have on search traffic from the states… I htink I will try it (with a nice redirect to handle the old category of title of course)
The other thing we could try is more naked celebrities of course… this post gets found a lot!

Great set of reviews Frank!
Updated WP plugin coming very soon which will be much easier to use (particularly if you need to updadate the reviews). Keep an eye on blog.loudervoice.com

Thanks Conor, will do… I really like the plugin as is, found it very easy to install & use. Hadn’t looked at editing a review, but in terms of the reviews I did so far I found it extremely easy.
I’ll keep an eye on the blog. Hopefully see you soon anyway, Cheers!
