Hip-Hopera
January 31st, 2007 by FrankWords fail me. When I saw this South Park clip featuring R Kelly originally I had no idea that it wasn’t parody, it was just accurate reportage.
I refuse to post this in the Music category, so it remains posted in Indefinable Craziness, because that’s what it is.
I realise this is pretty old, and most of you may have heard of it due to the fact that it is unintentionally hilarious, but for those of you who have missed out I present chapter one of R Kelly’s ‘rap-opera’ or ‘hip-hopera’ – “TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET“.
No, really.

and then buttered toast,
and then toast with honey,
and then a sugar-topped cake,
Then Ah made a little video
of me making pee-pee show,

Janie – there’s twelve of them, with more probably on the way, possibly a play, maybe a tv series… and I’m not joking!!!
Green Ink – i think we should team up and make our own, there’s obviously a market for these. We could do ‘Trapped in the chest of drawers’ or something…
