It compared well, the atmosphere and the crowd were as you'll have come to expect, there was loads of stuff to do other than the music, food was great, prices weren't too bad, and although the lineup wasn't as immediately appealing maybe as other years there was some seriously good gigs on. I discovered a newfound love of electronica and found some really good acts like The Presets, and although I missed them everyone was talking about Crystal Castles so I bought their album too... fuck it maybe I will get around to that write up...! Sigur Ros was like BEING IN HEAVEN - I can't say it enough! Good question – this year was a little bit less about the music for me and more about having a shed load of fun.
