Learn to play guitar..

learning to play the guitar is fucking hard. There’s a surprising lack of helpful video tutorials out there, too and all the dvds are about 25 quid and don’t really tell you much.
guitarnoise.com is about the best I’ve seen, with it’s easy songs for beginners but it’s not great. a lot of the songs I haven’t heard before and really video is needed, not just mp3.
I think it just requires more patience then I’ve got.

Hey Richard: I just wanted to say that I felt the same way…It’s really hard to find high-quality info for cheap out there. After crawling my way through dozens of sites, and practically teaching myself for a few years, I decided to make a free eCourse for other people trying to learn.

The clip is great! Yep, learning to play the guitar is not as easy as it sounds. (Might be easier to learn Guitar Hero on the playstation!) About.com have quite a lot of good guitar articles and lessons, which might be worth looking at.
