Truly remarkable. The juxtapositioning of the urban nightmare and the pastoral refuge is redolent with Romantic themes and is made all the more pathetic by Gail’s fragile attempts to catch a buttefly.
But Gail, although she’s trying hard, can’t quite escape the inequity of the city which is menacingly represented by the rapacious, wandering hands of her boss.
Gail as a woman and as a worker is a sad reminder to us of the oppressed and dispossed amongst us.
She should be praised for her fortitude and held up as a model for all those crazy butterfly catchers who hold on, stay true, and fight to catch hold of their dreams.
It’s not often one comes across such pithy social commentaries in the form of entertaining cartoons. A testament to your collective talent and unassuming genius. Bravo!

If we ever get around to producing a book, I think you’re going to have to write the foreword.
