I know what you mean, but I just don’t think it was funny at all. I wanted a sketchy energetic type of illustration which I managed to achieve (albeit not as odd looking as I had intended), but when I was finished it just didn’t seem funny at all.
I think the one we published here is funnier, and achieved the oddness I wanted in the earlier draft.
True, and it’s worth mentioning again that we will be doing more of the more recognisable BifSniff style, we’re just experimenting a bit because we can - that way if we stumble on something worth exploring we can look at having a mix of different types of material on the site…

I thought the one you rejected Frank was better than the one you ended up going with-more colour and energy, but then again that might be just me.

But as you point out, it’s all a matter of taste.
I wonder does anyone else prefer the rejected version?

I’d imagine folks are just used to the more colourful style of cartoon.

The rejected one looks like something from an anti drink campaign. Looks very good.. but I think the one you went with is funnier. Keep it up.

Thanks Aoife, it’s worth a lot really even if I can’t show it for fear of damaging my carefully cultivated hardman image.
Ta too Rikki but I’m afraid if I stop listening to the crazies, then nobody will be talking to me.
