What’s in a name?

October 21st, 2005 by admin

Pretentious and boring as it was, 'The Land That Tim Forgot' did benefit somewhat from it's similarity in title to 'that other film'.

I might post some comments on ‘the making of’ this cartoon tomorrow. Too tired tonight though… hope you like it. I like it. “Where are the dinosaurs?” heh heh heh… :P

    Clever cartoon!

I’ve been caught out once before with something like this. There was a movie I wanted to see but it’s US and UK titles were different but there was a movie that was similar to the US title and I thought I had the right movie.

    I didn’t…

Thanks Deb! I’ve noticed too that sometimes when Hollywood ‘reuses’ an old title the OLD and usually CRAP film suddenly reappears in shops. I often wonder if the distributers are hoping a certain percentage of people will make the mistake. Or perhaps unwitting parents will pick up the wrong film for their children and get all kinds of hell for their trouble!
