She looks like the girl from Blade Runner, what's her name, Decker's replicant girlfriend? We're going to do a lot of physical work she says, we're going to learn how to free our bodies.... Christmas in Germany is great, cold weather, Gluhwein, goose and red cabbage and I get to spend time with the small fella. Christmas is for kids after all. Somehow his mother is odd at me though because I told him there was no such thing as Santa Claus when he was four. I did it because I didn't want him made a fool of, and I wanted to save him the disappointment of finding out he'd been conned by those who are supposed to be looking out for him. He didn't seem to have a problem with it and then went on to tell me where babies come from and also spoke a bit on epistemological relativism. Smart kid, Liam. Only five and speaks fluent German as well! So, you coming on Saturday? We can meet up for some pints and cocaine and heart attacks before heading up there; get paranoid, violent, trash the gaff and leave. That'll show the f~@+£$s for trying to spread Christmas cheer. I'm fine, nothing bothering me except a little niggling toothache at the moment. Had a very nice time in France in September, heading off to the Fatherland soon for the Christmas and New Year. Other than that, still learning about atoms up in UCC and I'll be in a play too at the start of February, rehearsals start tonight, 'Observe the Sons Of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme', it's called. Listen, if you're around there's a party on this Saturday in the Mardyke Cricket Club, should be a good evening. Let us know if yourself, Audrey and Jeremy want to go.
