Momo had a fantastic game and it's great to have him back but it's a bit wide of the mark to imagine him slotting into Alonso's role in midfield. Losing a player of Xabi's quality is always a blow but, yes, we'll get over it. What annoys me though is that Alonso has always said that he wants to stay at Liverpool, yet every time rumours like this emerge, Pool fans buy into it with this 'let him go' attitude.
