Palm Treo 680 doesn’t support it, which is unfortunate as it’s otherwise an incredibly feature-rich handset. Much more like an OS than garbage like the Nokia E61. Unfortunately Palm jumped into bed with MS on their latest handset, and I’m not sure if they’re going to continue down that idiotic road.

FIC Neo v2 for me next if they do; assuming it does what it says on the tin.

I use a 3G data modem for surfing the net. Changed my life when traveling I have to say. I am tempted to switch to 3 too as they have new handsets coming out with Skype built in and already have MSN Messenger built in.

Ever since AT&T took over Cingular, I’ve been getting 3G service sometimes. It’s been a nightmare though and rarely works. When I need the net, I cross my fingers and hope for a little E to show up for EDGE.

When I have been on 3G, I haven’t noticed that it’s much (if any) faster. Probably the poor connection.
