Actually, it’s not really about piracy

Apparently, on the quiet, Hollywood is finally admitting that DRM (Digital Rights Management) isn’t really about the fear of piracy. It’s actually got more to do with creating new revenue streams.

And while their fucking around, trying to squeeze more and more cash out of us, the first HD DVD rip has appeared on BitTorrent and Pirate Bay have decided to buy themselves a country - Sealand as it happens.

The Sarcastic Idiocy Forum refuses to pay for any downloaded pictures of monkeys throwing feces. This type of photography should belong to the world, not just a few corporate juggernauts whose sole aim is to create vast stores of wealth. Call us pirates if you will.

I don’t know about pirates but, technically speaking, you are comment spammers. But if it takes comment spam to get these pictures of monkeys throwing feces out of the hands of the corporate juggernauts, then I guess that’s just the price we’re going to have to pay.
